During the UEFA Champions League match in Milan, our team delivered a complete on-site broadcast solution for live sports coverage. We provided a commentary position based on an IP codec, ensuring stable, high-quality audio transmission between the stadium and the broadcasters.
At Milano Cortina 2026, we provided professional field production services for live sports coverage. Our work included commentary setups, camera positions, audio workflows, IP contribution and mobile studio solutions designed for up to three participants - one host and two experts. We helped ensure smooth and reliable broadcast operations on site.
At the 2025/26 IBU World Cup Stage 5 in Ruhpolding, we provided a tailored on-site broadcast solution for live sports coverage. Our team deployed a commentary position based on IP codec technology, ensuring dependable audio contribution between the venue and the broadcaster. We also established a live connection with the studio, enabling smooth two-way communication and seamless integration into the live program.
Live commentary and comm-cam delivery from Beşiktaş Park for the UEFA Europa League Final between Aston Villa and SC Freiburg.
BMK Sport arrived a day ahead of the match with its own Prodys Quantum W2 codecs and full commentary kit. On arrival we liaised with the venue organisers and the UEFA and host broadcast engineers responsible for the media position to confirm connectivity, power and access. Before kick-off we completed line checks, a full sound check with the commentators and a coordination test with the client's central studio. The programme video was supplied as a separate UEFA feed: we coordinated its hand-over with the venue engineers, patched it into the position and verified stability and latency against the commentary audio.
Scope of work
On air
Throughout the broadcast our engineer stayed at the position, managing gain structure and headphone mixes, adjusting comm-cam framing and lighting as conditions changed, and continuously monitoring the IP link — bitrate, packet loss and jitter — to keep the connection stable. We stayed in constant contact with the technical team at the receiving end, so any adjustment was made in seconds, from the first whistle to the trophy lift.
One position, one engineer, one kit — delivered on time and on air without a single dropout.
Mobile studio, commentary position and comm-cam at Telekom Center Athens for the EuroLeague Final Four, 22–24 May 2026. Olympiacos beat Real Madrid 92–85 in the Championship Game to lift their fourth EuroLeague title — the first since 2013 — in front of a home crowd, with Evan Fournier named Final Four MVP.
BMK Sport delivered two positions on its own equipment. The courtside studio was built on Prodys codecs, carrying studio audio, programme return and coordination as well as video contribution and reception over IP, with two cameras for presenters and guests and a branded presenter desk supplied by BMK Sport to the client's specification. The commentary position — on AETA Systems codecs at the client's request — was equipped with commentator units, headsets, audio interfaces and one comm-cam. On arrival we coordinated connectivity, power and access with the organisers and the venue engineers responsible for the media positions, then completed line checks, a full sound check and coordination tests with the client's central studio.
Scope of work
On air
Across both match days our engineers stayed at the positions, managing gain structure and headphone mixes, adjusting camera framing and lighting as conditions changed, and keeping the contribution and return links stable. We remained in constant contact with the technical team at the receiving end, so every studio hit went out clean and on cue — from the semi-finals to the trophy ceremony.
Two match days, two positions, zero interruptions — studio, commentary and comm-cam delivered on time and on air.
Commentary position and comm-cam at Leipzig Stadium (Red Bull Arena) for the UEFA Conference League Final on 27 May 2026. Crystal Palace beat Rayo Vallecano 1–0, Jean-Philippe Mateta scoring the only goal in the 51st minute, to win the first European trophy in the club's history in front of 39,176 spectators.
A one-match final leaves no room for a second take, so the BMK Sport engineer was on site the day before with a complete self-contained kit: Prodys Quantum W2 codecs, commentator units, headsets, audio interfaces and a comm-cam. The first hours went into working with the UEFA and host broadcast engineers who run the media tribune — agreeing the cabling, power and network hand-over — followed by line checks, a full sound check with the commentators and talkback and sync tests with the client's central studio. The programme video arrived as a separate UEFA feed: we took the hand-over from the venue engineers, brought it into the position and matched its latency to the commentary audio.
Scope of work
On air
From warm-up to the final whistle the engineer stayed at the position: keeping gain structure and headphone mixes in check, re-framing and re-lighting the comm-cam as daylight faded, and watching the IP link — bitrate, packet loss, jitter — in real time. A permanent open line to the studio's technical team meant every adjustment was made in seconds and the commentators never had to think about the technology behind them.
A historic night for Crystal Palace — and a clean, uninterrupted broadcast for our client from kick-off to the trophy.
Full on-site production at Puskás Aréna for the UEFA Champions League Final on 30 May 2026. Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal drew 1–1 after extra time — Kai Havertz on 6 minutes, Ousmane Dembélé from the spot on 61 — before PSG won the shoot-out 4–3 to become the first club since Real Madrid (2016–2018) to retain the trophy. Vitinha was named Player of the Match.
This was our most complete set-up of the season. BMK Sport deployed a dedicated OB van in the TV compound and built a three-camera studio overlooking the pitch, with the UEFA Champions League presenter desk in shot and the stadium bowl as the backdrop. Every point — studio, OB van, commentary position and the client's remote studio — was linked with dedicated audio, video and talkback circuits, so the production ran as a single, coordinated operation from build day to final whistle.
The commentary position itself was equipped by the organising committee, but the client asked for a BMK Sport engineer to sit alongside the commentators throughout: managing levels and headphone mixes in real time, operating the comm-cam, and keeping the position in constant coordination with the OB van and the remote studio. In the two days before the final our crew also shot ENG material with the client's correspondents across Budapest — fan zones, training sessions and previews — delivered ready for the build-up programming.
Scope of work
On air
On match day the team ran a full live production — studio segments before, during and after the match, commentary from the tribune and links to the client's remote studio — through 120 minutes plus a penalty shoot-out, with every circuit stable and every cue on time.
Studio, OB van, commentary and ENG — one crew, one compound, one Champions League Final delivered end to end.
